Emergency First Aid at Work

This course is ideal for people requiring emergency first aid at work status, usually in small to medium low risk workplaces, or as someone to assist your current nominated First aid at work person.

This course is 6 hours of training with a relaxed atmosphere that is designed to promote confidence and give a greater knowledge in Basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations.

A certificate that is valid for a period of three years is issued to students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard.

First Aid at Work

This course is ideal for people requiring full first aid at work status, usually in a medium to large premises or with higher risk workplaces, as an initial course or for someone that no longer holds a valid certificate.

3 Days comprehensive training with a relaxed atmosphere that is designed to promote confidence and give a greater knowledge in basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations.

A certificate that is valid for a period of three years is issued to students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard.

Emergency Life Support

This 1 day training course is designed to promote confidence in managing emergency situations with a blend of theoretical insights and practical sessions. Rooted in the guidelines of the Resuscitation Council (UK).

This course transforms novices into confident emergency responders. A certificate that is valid for a period of 3 years is issued to students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard.

Defibrillator Course

This course lasts 3 hours and is designed to train your current first aiders in the use of an AED.

With this course, you will gain a great understanding of:

Basic life support and CPR
AED Safety & Legal aspects
Cardiac rhythms
Application and Practical training in the use of the AED

On completion the successful candidate will receive a certificate of attendance that is valid for 12 months.

Annual skills Reminder

Refresh and reinforce your first aid proficiency with this 3-hour interactive course. Designed for current certificate holders, this HSE-recommended session is crafted to boost confidence and refresh crucial skills in a supportive environment.

Driver CPC Training

Many of our courses are registered under CPC, not only do you get a subject qualified certificate (for example Emergency First Aid at Work); it also counts towards your CPC hours which means:

Your staff spend less time in the classroom and more time on the road
They obtain 2 recognised accreditations in one days training

Our offerings include:

Fire Marshal and Fire Extinguisher practical sessions: complete any 2 of these modules in the same 24 hours to count as 7 hours training
Emergency First Aid at Work: complete this course and be accredited with 7 hours CPC in addition to obtaining an approved First aid qualification

Fire Marshal

This course is aimed at providing employees who have been nominated as fire marshals or fire wardens within their workplace with the knowledge and skills to carry out their duties effectively. For those of you that employ drivers within the LGV or PCV sector, our courses are all accredited by Jaupt and can be counted towards their CPC hours.

Fire Training

This course is aimed at providing employees with familiarisation of the Fire fighting equipment that is provided at their workplace. For those of you that employ drivers within the LGV or PCV sector, our courses are all accredited by Jaupt and can be counted towards their CPC hours.

Manual Handling

Any employee whose job involves moving things manually should be equipped with manual handling training. Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, employers should provide their employees with health and safety information and training.

With this course, you will gain a greater understanding of:

The principles of correct movement techniques
The common causes of back injuries
How to apply these principles to their own work situations
Correct movements having practised them under the supervision of the trainer

Safer Personal Handling

This 3 hour workshop caters specifically to professionals involved in moving and handling people. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require employers to provide their employees with health and safety information and training.
